Did you know you could make desserts in your crockpot? It’s one of our favorite ways to cook sweets, because besides set up, it’s basically hands-free! It’s super simple to make PLUS it leaves your house with a delicious aroma, regardless of what kind you’re cooking. Since it’s peach season still, we decided to test out a peach cobbler recipe in our crockpots. The result = AMAZING! Fresh peaches get so juicy in the crockpot, it’s out of this world.

  • 3/4 C. Bisquick
  • 1/3 C. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 C. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 can evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp. margarine or butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 large ripe peaches, mashed
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon

Lightly grease crock pot or spray with non-stick cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar and baking mix. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Stir. Pour in margarine and milk and stir. Mix in peaches and cinnamon, until well mixed. Pour into crock pot. Cover and cook on low for six to eight hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Serve warm. Top with vanilla ice cream if desired.
