This mushroom broth is perfect to sip before eating a large meal. Garnish with parsley leaf. Serve with toasted French bread. Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. sliced mushrooms
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 C. tap water
- 1 parsley leaf
- Add oil to a small skillet and toss in mushrooms. Cook until tender and set aside.
- Bring water to a boil, then add mushroom soup and broth. Cook until mushroom soup has dissolved, and then add mushrooms. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Ladle into bowls and garnish with parsley leaf.
