I don’t feel I look older, necessarily, as I hurtle toward my mid-30s, but when I wake up in the morning I sure look more tired than I did in my 20s. If I didn’t get eight hours sleep the night before (which happens approximately never), I develop purple, saggy bags underneath my eyes and it impacts every other feature on my face.

Traditional under-eye creams have never worked for me, they just make it look like I applied yellow goo on top of my purple bags. The joyful exception is Benefit’s Eye Bright. I’m not sure of the miracle ingredient, but just a dollop in the inner and outer corner of each eye rockets me from the Undead to the Bright-Eyed and Ready. $18 at Sephora.
