I love my work -- elementary teacher -- but I just left a school where I was starting to dread my job. I'm hoping the new position in September will help re-motivate. What I do to make a bad day at work better, none of which are probably applicable for your retail job: shut the door, laugh really loudly while taking 10 minutes to surf my blog-homies, bang my head on the desk, refuse to make eye contact with people outside my door.
