Last April I turned the big 50. I have been an in home family daycare provider for 28 years, married 32 years and raised 3 kids of my own along with countless daycare kids. I am not a selfish person and I am usually the last on the list for everything!

I wanted to start something new. But I still needed my daycare income. Let's face it...28 years into this job and I am not any better off financially than when I started. Daycare is rewarding, but in a different way. Not monitarily! And I had no retirement plan or savings!

I decided to become a Scentsy Flameless Candle Warmer Consultant. I figured I would make extra money for myself. You know money on the side. I didn't want to work outside of the hours I was already putting in doing daycare and I wanted to have fun. The start up cost was only $99 so I figured that it was worth giving it a try.  

Well, it's been 8 months. I am making excellent money and I'm having a blast meeting new people! I have been promoted 4 times already!!

 Scentsy sells itself. Once people see them and smell them...they love them!  I feel so proud of myself that I found a new challenge at my age and who knew I would be so good at it! LOL!

My husband and my kids are astonished that I am really into this. But I love the product so much, it's easy to sell something that you are proud to sell.

So for me...what I did is start a new adventure and a career! And I am having a BLAST!!
