I'm in charge of the budget for our family.  We have equal say in how the money gets spent, but I do all the leg work.  When we need to save money someplace...like insurance, cell phones, cable or anything household related I do all the shopping around to find the best deal. 

Our cell phone plan is up this month, and I am determined to find a better deal.  I shopped around all day today, and finally found something that will save us 25 buckes a month...but jeez...what a hassle.  I find myself wondering if it's worth it to do that type of work, but then again it will be nice to be able to use that money elsewhere.

  • Yeap, i know how you feel.... forget shopping for the best deal, just keeping up with renewals, bills, statments is a pain in itself!!!

  • I totally know what you mean - but I am lucky in that this is something my husband deals with. He's got a way of talking to customer service people to get stuff done - I just lose my cool and that goes nowhere good....
