Yesterday my best friend Jessica went to the grocery store with her daughter who is 2 years old. On her way out there was a group of people hovered around a man who was passed out on the ground. Jessica ran over and asked if anyone else knew CPR no one did but Jessica handed her daughter to an older lady and asked her to please turn her away, as she began doing mouth to mouth. Another onlooker began doing the chest compressions. The man still seemed pretty blue when the ambulance arrived but Jessica did feel a faint pulse. Did she save this man's life, we don't know but she did what I find very admirable. While she was doing CPR she asked that everyone who was standing around to start praying and the did. I am very proud of my best friend who does not always get to be a hero and who is not always aware what a fabulous person she is and can be. So Jessica this is for you, you did a good job and you did the right thing and I am so proud of you!

  • What a GREAT story! Thanks so much for sharing. The news on the national scene is so gloomy that I really needed a shot in the arm story like this. - Paula.
