So ... today I was reflecting at the fact that it's tough to live in America these days (as well as anywhere else). We are part of the history in the making: brands/companies who were yesterday writing the books of business history are now ... just history. What do you do with your marketing when things get rough (aka: our more-than-ever global economy)? What marketing tactics do you engage to be able to continue to grow your business? What is the last thing you eliminate from your marketing plan during rough times? I'm making an educated guess here: your business networking activites - especially the ones producing new customers referrals. Tell me if I'm right or wrong. All the very best,Lorena.

  • I think the rule in a rough economy is do more marketing! Yes, networking, but keep advertising, and market more. If your business is slower, you have more time to do Search engine optimization (which is NOT hard, just time consuming) on your site and you also have time to find creative marketing techniques.

In my experience, this is NOT the time to slow down, but to speed up! :)
