The other day I went to sleep next to an infant and then woke up next to a toddler.  It's frightening to think that almost a year has gone by since I first held my little angel in my arms.  If the next 17 or 18 years pass as quickly as this one has then I'm in trouble.

All of a sudden I have a little person, own thoughts, opinions and ideas.  She has her own sense of humor and makes jokes.  She gets into things and then tells me "no, no mama", she craves her "me" time and will push people away until she can play alone.

It seems to have happened overnight.
