I think I am one of the few who are loving the time change. True, my baby goes to bed a bit later than before, but she stays asleep longer in the morning so I'm not trying to juggle as much to get ready. Though she has had quite a few makeup and hair tutorials already (sitting in her bouncer seat in the bathroom while I get ready). I've amused myself more than once with my running narratives as to why mommy puts on this type of concealer and which blush is better (Smashbox if anyone cares).

I'm turning over a new leaf in honor of Spring being just around the corner. I've decided a lot of my problem right now is my perception/attitude. And by making the change on Friday after some serious thinking and chatting with my husband, I can see that I'm basically right. Because the weekend was so fun. We went for walks, ran errands, hung out, went shopping. This weekend we plan on making a special trip so I can buy some clothes that fit (I'm not asking for much, just a few things that don't fall off when I stand up) and have to go to a family thing at my parents.

Last night we prepped dinner together and (this is big) folded laundry. It was nice, actually.

And operation crib transition starts this weekend. I feel like that announcement should be accompanied by some really scary music.
