Once again I'm checking in after a long hiatus from WIM, and I've missed it here! But I have good news -- I have completed one of the goals I put in my WIM profile long ago: I now have truly satisfying work. :)
I took a new job 3 weeks ago. It's very different from what I was doing previously, and it's located only 6 miles from my front door. I'm happy here, learning exponentially, and enjoying my new coworkers. Of course, leaving was hard, but staying would have been worse.
I realized this morning that I'm also accomplishing another of my goals/projects: better health/fitness! I've been doing Jillian Michaels' 30-Day Shred, though not the "30-days" part. I do it several times a week. I've lost some weight and even 1/4 inch off my waist! That might not be much but it's better than nothing, and I'm gaining strength. I can now do push-ups - MAN ones! At least 10 of 'em!
The best thing to report is that it's Friday, and I'm going to get a lot of work done today, and I'm happy. Hope you all are, too!
