Do you think work-life juggle is easier when the kids are younger or school-age?

Definitely younger. You do have to do everything for them to get them ready in the morning and bathe them at night. However, a school-age child maybe hard to wake in the morning, stay on them to get ready, attend school functions, complete homework and reading, bathe and assure they are in bed (and asleep) in time to get adequate sleep.
