Gym Shoes
So we had a discussion about how it was gym day, was our outfit (pants & top) appropriate? Then halfway to school I realize the shoes she's chosen are pink ballet flats just before we left! I should have realized that her getting her shoes on went to quickly.
"Are we dancing in gym?" I say?
"Oops, I made a mistake, but I don't want to miss breakfast!"
Mind you breakfast at school isn't for another 1/2 hour, it is a ploy to wear the shoes we want.
"Do you think Mr S. would like the shoes?"
"I don't want him to be mad!"
"Well then..."
So back to the house we trudge. Sigh. And I wonder why I can never seem to get to work early as is my goal. At least I was able to get a few more things cleaned up before Thursday.
