Shots, are they bullets?

My daughter asked this question with genuine concern today as the doctor listed all the new obama care policies and I debated being one of the few, the very few, who refused shots because my daughter was incredibly healthy and I didn't want to give her shots until she was older. I would be placed on a list in the federal and state database as the new "healthcare" rules began? it was new policy as of oct and my eyes must have had a goggled appearance as I said "sounds eriely like eugenics? or segregation based on health?". The doctor and nurse both meant thier frowns and grouchy tones of vioce as they nodded and said the impact and possible misuses by those not taking a hippocratic oath were quite vast. They meant it was not right to publish your health records like a blog unless you chose freely, not as a mandate.
So my daughters doctor is one of the very few Tricare (see army medical, which literally puts blue cross blue sheild to shame and I miss a good deal more the a man lately) doctors in town who never pressured me into giving my daughter shots, he also never assumed I was whacko or just following the buzz when I said I had been raised without shots and preferred to wait. He listened to my reasoning and said when I'm ready they were there. He took me seriously when I asked questions about local disease statistics, when I asked about the water safety at the local springs? To have both him and my daughters nurse mad about the health care reform debate & the state & federal laws making a mandate about shot records gave me chills. Literally, I had goosepimples for a good five minutes. I've been to war, I've seen socialist governments that do not function, I've felt the impact of ignorance within two generations act more ruthless then any external factor man (or the better version of our species, the updated version, woman) has to conquor in this brutal world.
I have a system that will help with childcare, but that means I will have a microscope shoved in places even wonderful peaceful saints do not appreciate. My doctor was mad on my childs behalf that he had to give me information to choose from that a bare three months ago was not pressured by outside influences at all. He preferances shots, but he also preferances parents having personal and final chioce. I agreed to the shots. My daughter did not like the event at all, she hit a nurse, screamed like a banshee and cried for ten minutes asking me if school meant shots every day? was she bad? why did I not listen when she said it hurt? Being advanced in cognitive reasoning means she expects adults to reason with her like adults, not ignore her concerns. All the preparations, soothing talk , hugs did not take away the fact she didn't understand why, if she was good, did we give her shots?
