Yes, I have noticed that, too. I am quite a bit older than most of the moms I've met at library activities, Mommy & Me, birthday parties, etc. I'm in my 40's, but most of them are in their 20's and 30's. Every now and then I meet another 40-something mom, but I seem to fit right in with most of the younger moms. In fact, I've made some good friends through these activities, and the age difference between us seems to mean nothing at all. I have a lot more in common in many ways with these younger moms (because our kids are the same age) than with my other friends whose kids are in high school and college.
