Hi everyone --
I totally stumbled here by accident and am THRILLED to discover you all. As someone who works from home (I'm a writer), I often find that I fit into that gray area between "working moms" and "stay-at-home moms." It may APPEAR to others (moms at school, teachers, occasionally even my husband) that I am at home and therefore available, but actually I am WORKING. I mean, I am grateful for the life I have because I DO have the flexibility to go on the occasional field trip, and to participate in carpool, and to be around if a child gets sick at school. But it also means that I am the one who is sort-of expected to do the grocery shopping and to come up with dinners and to keep the house clean. It is a never-ending juggling act... both a blessing and a curse.
Looking forward to clicking around the site and seeing how other moms cope!
