At a Kansas bank, employees went to great lengths to get out of wearing pantyhose (especially in the hot summer months). The press is now opening up the debate. Do you have to wear pantyhose to work? Do you think women should have to if men don't have to wear ties?

  • Im a man and I dont think there should be any restriction for a woman or man to dress sexy in the office . men would get used to having lots of cleavage, miniskirts, tank tops, and skimpy clothes around them if it is a common site at work and wouldnt find it a distraction if they were very used to it - so Ladies dress sexy as much as you want to work, its your right to wear push up bras, form fitting clothes, tight blouses, high heels and lots of makeup in the office- men will get used to it if they haven’t already (many indeed have) and it will become completely acceptable in time- people wont be bothered about it eventually.

  • OK, have to admit, I've not worn pantyhose in 10 years. I wear mostly pants anyway and those tall socks with them -- and when I wear a skirt, it's either bare legs (if warm) or tights and boots.

  • Things have gotten so casual, most of the women attorneys I work with don't wear pantyhose anymore. I don't have to wear them either, but with closed-toe shoes, I do just because I think I'd feel icky if I didn't. (I'm so used to the no-pantyhose look that I now prefer it.)
