- Make good on the threat to take away toys, games, playtime, dessert, etc! I used to be horrible at this and one day my dad saw what I was doing and said "Honey - your son has you figured out!" What a change it made when I stuck to my guns with my son.
- Parenting advice I ignore:
- Putting my kids on a strict schedule. This will never work for our family. We like to keep things flexible.
- Favorite activity with my kids:
- Going to the park on a sunny day and playing ball or flying a kite.
