I have worked the night shift for over 9 years and i have 4 boys. It is a difficult schedule to have when you work nights and have to be a parent as well. While working nights means that you can be there during the day it is harder when the kids get older and are in school. You can leave her special notes to find or call her each night before she goes to sleep. It doesn't make up for not being there with her each night as she goes to sleep, but it does start something special for the both you. I do a lot of volunteering at my son's school as a way to keep in with what he is doing now that he is in Kindergarten. You can also do something special with just her on one of your days off so that she gets that one on one time that your two year old gets as well.
