- Parenting advice I follow:
- Always get to your child's eye level and 'listen' to them. When you listen to your child, and not cut them off, they will feel like their words are just as important to you as how they're feeling. The trust will be there, and the honesty is easier to come out when a child knows your sincerely 'listening' to them, and not just 'tolerating' them for that moment.
- Parenting advice I ignore:
- Never follow the "Do as I say, not as I do!" (My parents used to do this a lot! ~ In the end, they DID teach me how NOT to raise my kids!)
- Favorite activity with my kids:
- Outdoor activities!
