Is there a "right time" in your career to have kids? early on, so you can build your career afterwards; or as late as possible, making sure you've made your way up the career ladder first?

I wish I had done it earlier, I've been a better employee and worked harder since becoming a mom. I've also become a lot smarter about money. Also, since I want to have another I am faced with a deadline and a choice between building my career/money/housing and having another baby.

I work about 30 hours a week on a non-traditional schedule (Mon-Thurs 1-7 and then Saturdays). Its nice because I am able to take my daughter to preschool, hit the gym for a little bit, do the music classes and be one of the "moms" at the playground. Howe

well, the good news is that it won't be long this way. Time will solve that problem because as he grows he will need those morning naps less and less. Maybe, on your off days do more quality time with him...maybe even a little just you and him time. I've found that a little can go a long way.
