I am married to my best friend and soul mate. We have 2 amazing kids...soon to be 3. I freelance write, create custom children's books for general and special needs kids and I co-own Mommy Perks. I can't sit still much, in case you guessed :-)

How I de-stress:
Walk away from my computer :-) Go for a walk...head down to the little restaurant near our home for some homemade pie and coffee.
Best advice I've gotten:
Don't attempt to please everyone. It will never happen. You can only please some of the people some of the time. Also - don't let work take over. Make time for your family and kids. Work will always be there when you get back.

  • Hi Diane: Before starting my own businesses and entering the field of Education, I was a nanny for about 16 years for different aged children...I learned just a thing or two about kids and routine :-) Thanks for writing and enjoy your day!
