Hi, Sarah. Thanks for checking out my blog. I looked at yours too...your girls are beautiful!!! Sorry you're not liking GA. I'm a former New Yorker myself. You should try to make your way closer to Atlanta...much more open minded and metro than where you are now. Atlanta is a great melting pot of people from all over the US and it's got tons of young families. Nice to meet you!
Hi, biomom, I am the co-founder of Work It, Mom! and just wanted to welcome you to our community. If you have any questions about the site, please let me know.
I checked out your blog and it's great - you have a great style, and should write more:) I saw that you used to live in Boston - we just recently moved up here so learning our way around. Look forward to seeing you often at WIM!
Thanks for the welcome! It is so refreshing to find a website for working moms! I meet so much resistance to it here in the small, conservative, religious community of Augusta, GA. I grew up in Oakland, CA and lived in Boston for 5 years (earned my PhD from an unnamed university in Cambridge) so I am not used to this type of community. Work brought me here and hopefully I'll be able to get out soon!
Hi There! Welcome to Work It, Mom! I peeked at your blog, and can so relate to your post about holiday stress and baby stress! Last year, I hosted Thanksgiving for our entire family -- my side AND my in-laws -- while I was just 3 weeks post-partum... what was I thinking? Or not thinking?
Looking forward to reading more from you here at WIM!
