Ladies,
Today i'm going to check out the hospital where i'm supposed to deliver my child..... I'm a total novice here.... what should i pay attention to? what kind of questions should i ask?

It's been so long since I did this! My youngest is 5! Some of this may be out of date... but a few things - -Make sure your hubby can be there 24/7 and isn't restricted to visiting hours -Ask if there are any procedures that are mandatory (IV, monitoring) - especially if you don't want any of those in your birth plan -They will likely show you the nicest rooms - ask them to see the rooms they use if those nice rooms get full (my hospital only had 5, thankfully one was available when I went in) That's all I can think of - good luck and congrats on the pending delivery! :) -Wendy Piersall
