Have there been times when you weren't completely forthcoming at work as a working mom? E.g. say you have a meeting when you're leaving early to pick up your kids, not tell the interviewer that you're pregnant?
Answered on 5th June 2008:
I'm in a very "old boys" field where the more hours the work, the "better" you are - and I work approximately 25 hours per week. When I can't do a meeting or something, I always have to make an excuse. When I've mentioned I'm part time, they practically pat me on the head and think they can walk all over me.

What are some things you do that you swore you'd NEVER do as a mom?
Answered on 6th December 2007:
Use the TV as a babysitter. Then something magical happened - I had to work from home when his school wouldn't take him, he had a fever the day before. I put Sesame Street in and Whollla!!! I finished my project and he was happy.
