awww i kind of think it's sweet that both your parents love their grandchild so much that they want to spend as much time as possible with him! Maybe you could do the every other weekend (one weekend for each set of grands) and then one night during the week your parents can watch the baby while you and your husband get a date night? Maybe on fridays? That way they each get time during the week and 2 weekends a month. and of course, time for you to stare and ooh and aah over the baby too :)

How do you deal with the guilt of putting your child in daycare to go back to work? My daughter is only 8 weeks old and is going to daycare Monday and I am struggling.

i think i worried so much about feeling guilty that i didnt even realize that i didnt really feel guilty. until i walked into the office and took a deep breath and a HUGE smile! i knew i wanted to be at work - i adore my child and being a mother AND i love working! If you are happy with the daycare, know that she is cared for, loved, and happy and that she is sooo happy to see you when you pick her up :) my son is a little shy so for him, daycare has been a great way for him to make friends and build confidence! how have your last couple of weeks been?

Hey Kate, thanks for the comment! My boss thought that since my programs I write are a type of project that I should have some project management skills, hence the class. And OMG you are right, it's all about the documentation!!!

Hi Kate - you're too funny! I'm with you in that there's no such thing as too much good TV! As for Pushing Daisies - I totally enjoy its quirky nature, but have to watch it with my teen age daughter so that she can explain the parts I just don't get!! Susan

Thanks for your comment on my article," Moms Should Enjoy the Holidays, Too." I didn't realise until you mentioned it, I could have pointed out that the kids can decorate the paper for other gift-giving occasions besides the holidays, too. Duh! Hi! I can be the greatest of motivators for others (it's just motivating myself where I have problems!) LOL! But believe me, there's nothing better than having a good support group to help you keep going when you feel like totally slacking on your couch :)
