- reside in a small town in Illinois. lived in Illinois my entire life. worked as a nurse for 15 years, however a severe car accident caused me to stop working. never had any children. I do have 2 dogs which I feel they are my "children". Do a lot of cooking, making up my own recipes as I go. I love the changes of seasons that we have in Illinois. My husband works for the airlines which we use as a primary way to travel to other cities. We go out for dinner quite a bit. I have tasted many foods across the United States, which is great because I get to broaden my horizons to different foods.
