- I'm a new mom and a new full-time working human being. We are excited to grow our family and I thoroughly love my job teaching underprivileged kids. I do really well balancing work with my child, but struggle with date nights, finding babysitters, and managing my social life without a bitter heart or some anxiety. I'd love to use this site to resource ideas on how to balance not just being a parent and working, but also being an adult and maintaining friendships all in the midst of being a full time working mom.
