Did anyone else have trouble breastfeeding?

Yes, I had a lot of trouble. My daughter had jaundice, so was kept in an incubator the first 3 days. They made me pump to keep my milk coming in and even though her first feeding was on the breast, she got used to the bottle very quickly and would not latch on. I pumped for 5 months - all I did was eat, sleep & pump, boy was I tired. I thought it was important for her health, so I did it and she is almost 8 and VERY healthy and pretty smart too, so I'm happy with my decision.

For the moms who work outside the home, how often do you have a date with your husband without children? I feel so guilty not seeing her 9 hours a day and then going out without her!

We at least try to go out on our anniversary and we have a game night every once in a while with a Meet-Up group, but dates are few & far between. We usually have some alone time while she's sleeping (our daughter is 7) so we can be "romantic" *wink-wink* if you know what I mean. We're a couple of fuddy-duddies anyway, we didn't go out much while we were dating (10 years ago) we mostly stayed in & watched movies - much like our lives today.
