Parenting advice I follow:
Everyone kept telling me to enjoy each minute because it goes so fast. I figured that if so many people said the same thing, it must be true! So even in the frustrating moments, I find something to enjoy about it.
Parenting advice I ignore:
I always dislike when parents of kids older than mine say, "Oh, you think that's bad, you just WAIT!" It invalidates my feelings at the time. So i ignore it and NEVER say it to others!
Favorite activity with my kids:
We LOVE to read!

  • Hey there kt. Welcome to the site! You may just be our first member to list bagpipes as an interest. That made me perk up because I'm from the southern part of New Zealand, where most people are of Scottish ancestry. The wailing of the bagpipes is profoundly moving to me. (Do you play?)
