Goals I am working on:
I have been hired as a peer support specialist within the mental health system in my community. I will be leaving home on December 9th for two weeks to train for my new job. I'm looking forward to the break as well as the training.
Projects I am working on:
I am very slowly working on getting pictures organized for scrapbooking. I say slowly because I have to be in the mood for the craft.
I am also working on getting the weight off. Yay! I want to lose weight and feel better. A new eating plan is in effect...
What are your tips to look refreshed and put together when you have a big meeting but not much sleep the night before?

Cucumbers work wonders for puffy eyes! Believe me. Slice some cucumber rounds and apply them over your eyes for a few minutes in the morning; using cooler pieces after a minute or so. Your eyes will feel and look more refreshed. Also, apply a dampened, warm washcloth over your face for a few peaceful moments before you go. Then use your favorite cream for your face to give yourself the healthy glow you would have had if you'd gotten more sleep. Apply your make-up, and voila'... Wear something comfortable and not binding; something that looks good on you, without much effort on your part.
