  • Moster trucks are coming to town... so the kids go with grandpa, he loves them and it only cost $10 for the kids. Hubie and I relax infront of the fireplace order Pizza, watch one chick flick and one man pick.

  • My favorite cheap date night includes having grandma take our little one while my husband cooks a wonderful meal and I make the dessert. We then cuddle on the couch watching whatever comes on the tv until we both fall asleep.

  • Best cheap date night for us involves getting rid of the kids for the night (grandma to the rescue) and having our house all to ourselves. We make a nice dinner together, enjoy the quiet, and follow it up with a nice homemade breakfast the next day after sleeping late.

  • My favorite cheap date night is anytime I can get him alone. WE go to the local Chammps, or the dollar theater, or just a walk to DQ. We also try to get a few moments alone before bed just talking and watching some shows we have on DVR.

  • We love going to the local coffee shop where they have new music artists playing... it is always relaxing to sit in the cozy shop at a little table for two listening to some great music! :)

  • Dig out a spot in the snow for the firepit and a couple of chairs, put older son in charge of younger with a bowl of popcorn and a stack of DVDs, and then hang out under the stars by the fire and have drinks. We often invite some of the neighbors over (usually with their guitars) for a cheap night for all!
