  • Two other great ones: "Snack Time" by Barenaked Ladies (although try sharing the band's name with your 8 year old boy and see what happens) is awesome. Very funny, but if you ignored the lyrics about tadpoles, allergies, and a little boy having to wear his sister's hand-me-downs, you'd never know you weren't listening to "Stunt".
Can't say enough about anything by Sandra Boynton, too. Especially Dog Train. This woman is a children's music genius; I use her albums in my classroom (K-5 Music) and my home (2 year old girl can't stop singing one Boynton/Ford song or another at all times).
