Sweet Cherry Waffles

You could make your own waffles, but quite frankly, we’re too busy for that. We like to buy whole grain waffles at Trader Joe’s or another similar healthy grocery store and top it with our favorite healthy toppings.


  • 2 healthy waffles, toasted
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup frozen sweet cherries
  • 2 tbs shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 3 tbs cherry preserve


  • Defrost the cherries using your microwaves defrost setting. Alternatively you could heat them at 5 second intervals for about 20 seconds.
  • Mix the yogurt and preserve together in a bowl. Fold in the cherries.
  • Top the waffles with the cherry yogurt mixture and then top with shredded coconut. Enjoy!
