Cheesy Lemon And Fish Fillet Casserole With Onion

Those who aren't a fan of seafood may not like the taste or smell, but they are definitely depriving themselves of healthy omega-3 fatty acids, which help the heart and regulate cholesterol and blood pressure levels. This super tasty cheesy fish fillet casserole will get your kids loving fish early on to improve their health!


  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 onion, split into rings
  • 1 lb. white fish fillet
  • 2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, lemon juice, yogurt, and baking soda.
  2. Season the fish with salt and pepper, then place the fish in a casserole dish.
  3. Spread the onions on top of the fish, then pour the yogurt mixture over the fish and onions.
  4. Top casserole with grated Parmesan. Bake for 40 minutes.
