If there’s one place to indulge in a mound of greasy fries, it’s Five Guys. You may never be able to perfectly replicate their best-selling potatoes at home. But when you’re craving the fries and don’t want the calories, opt for these oven-baked spuds instead! Fries aren’t difficult to throw together, so the key is cooking them long enough to crisp perfectly.

Serves: 4 / Prep Time: 10 mins. / Cook Time: 25 mins.

2 lb. russet potatoes

1/3 C. vegetable oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Peel and cut your potatoes into thin french fry size. On a baking sheet, lightly toss the fries in the oil. Cook for 25 minutes, stirring the fries occasionally. Let them brown and crisp. Season to taste and serve.
