Sweet Watermelon Sorbet

For a low calorie dessert option, there’s nothing sweeter than sorbet! And at only 3 ingredients, it’s the easiest dish you’ll make all week. Any fruit will work with this recipe, so switch it up or combine flavors to make something totally unique.

Serve: 6 / Prep: 1 hour / Cook 2 mins.


1/2 seedless watermelon

1/2 C. sugar

2 C. water

Fresh strawberries, sliced

Mint leaves


Cut watermelon into small chunks and lay out on paper towels to absorb some moisture. Take half the chunks and freeze for 1 hour. Put the remaining half in a microwave safe bowl with the sugar and water. Mix together and heat for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine watermelon mixture and frozen watermelon in a blender and blend until creamy. Put into a freezer safe container and freeze overnight.

Garnish with strawberries and mint leaves to serve.
