Rich Mushroom Soup

This mushroom broth is perfect to sip before eating a large meal. Garnish with parsley leaf. Serve with toasted French bread. Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 C. tap water
  • 1 parsley leaf


  1. Add oil to a small skillet and toss in mushrooms. Cook until tender and set aside.
  2. Bring water to a boil, then add mushroom soup and broth. Cook until mushroom soup has dissolved, and then add mushrooms. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Ladle into bowls and garnish with parsley leaf.
