Refreshing Thai Steak Salad

If you want to keep things on the lighter side without sacrificing flavor, this dish is for you. Tender seasoned steak lays on a bed of lettuce, carrots and onion. Top with toasted sesame seeds for an added crunch!


8 oz. sirloin steak

½ Tbs. vegetable oil

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

1 bag romaine lettuce

2 large carrots, shredded

1 large onions, thinly sliced

2 Tbs. toasted sesame seeds

Thai salad dressing


Cook vegetable oil over high heat. Once hot, cook steak for 3 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and cut into strips against the grain. Assemble salad by placing lettuce on two plates with shredded carrots, onions and steak. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top. Serve with Thai salad dressing or dressing of your choice.
