Work It, Kids! photo contest: Because your kids are stylish, too!

Categories: basics

I know that I said I would tell you what to wear to the office holiday party, and I PROMISE we’re going to get to that, but first I have something Even More Exciting for you.

A contest! Yes, another one!

The Working Closet Flickr pool is still going strong, which makes me incredibly happy; it’s so fun to see what you all are wearing every day, or every so often. And occasionally, you show us what your adorable kids are wearing too, which is even MORE fun because kids are cute and they have great clothes.

And so we’re going to give your KIDS a chance to win a prize this month. Just for being their stylish selves.

Bananas are for Chimps

To enter, join the Work It, Kids! group here at Work It, Mom! Upload photos of your kids, at their most stylin’; at the end of the month, three lucky winners — one boy, one girl, and one baby (one year old or under) will each receive a $50.00 Old Navy gift card, compliments of Work It, Mom!

Winners will be determined by random drawing; each photo included in the pool enters you once in the drawing. So if you upload one photo, that’s one entry; upload ten photos, that’s ten entries. Right? Right.

Real Boys Wear Dirt

Here’s the Fine Print: You must be a member of workitmom.com, a U. S. resident, and at least 18 years of age to participate in this contest. No purchase necessary. Limit 100 entries per person. Cash value of each prize is $50.00.

We will also be talking about kids’ style here all month — what’s hot for kids right now, where to shop, how to get the best deals. Because you’re stylish, and so are your kids! Just in their own way, most of the time.

Or at least that’s what I tell myself when I see my kids leaving the house. Sigh.

this makes me weepy

  • US resident? Well, nuts.

But I’ll still send you pics, because Rebekah? She kicks some stylish ass. :-)

  • Wait, does this mean you WANT to see my four year old when he decides olive green pants with a gold stripe, a lime green t shirt and froggie boots are stylin, because they are after all All green?

    Chris  |  November 29th, 2007 at 3:36 pm

  • Yes, Chris, that is PRECISELY what we want to see!

Especially if he’s sporting the froggie boots. We LOVE the froggie boots.

Seriously, let’s see what your kids are wearing — the good, the bad, the do-you-think-he’s-colorblind? Everything.

  • You know I’m there! I actually wish I were allowed to dress more like my daughter. I have an inner sartorial 4 year old yearning to be free.

  • Ok, may I just chime in and say sorry to all of our non-US members please?! It’s WIM’s fault, not Susan’s - but if you’ve ever read pages and pages of contest regulations and laws, you might understand. And we really really really do love you!

  • lol chris! my husband STILL tries to follow that rule! i have to tell him that just because all items are green/blue/red/etc. does NOT mean they ‘GO’ together. he gets annoyed but i do make him change, he is old enough to handle it LOL

Next can we do a contest and take pictures of our husbands? :)

  • oh…. is there a flickr group?

    Kian  |  November 29th, 2007 at 10:31 pm

  • No Flickr group — this contest is ONLY here.

You’re welcome to post pictures of your kids at The Working Closet Flickr group, but the contest entries have to be posted at WIM.

I wish I could post some pictures to show people what I mean. She’s so picky with her clothes! And she has such good taste! My baby… :)
