Take a minute to meet some of the other members here at Work It, Mom! This week, we'd like to introduce you to Rosemary a military spouse and mom of two who lives in Connecticut and works from home as a freelancer. When she's not writing, she's often still writing -- over at her blog, Writing Military Mom.

1.) What do you do?

I am the author of one novel, a freelance writer and have recently begun working as a development coordinator for a homeless shelter (part-time).

2.) How did you end up in your current career?

I've always wanted to be a writer. When I married my Navy husband, I found I was either over- or under-qualified for jobs where we lived near Washington, D.C. After working for a freelance writer's organization, I decided to make the leap and take my work home. That's when I wrote my second manuscript which became my first published novel, First Saturday. I am currently working on my next novel while running a freelance writing business until I become a bestselling author. :)

3.) What's your dream job?

I have my dream job now.

4.) Tell us a few things on your Life To-Do List.

I would love to return to Rome, but with my husband this time. I went once with my church choir and it was amazing, but I had to leave him home with the children. I also want to publish my next two or three novels so I will feel like more than a one-hit wonder. Most importantly, I want to raise fantastic people in my two sons and know I did a great job while trying to do all of this other stuff.

5.) What's for you the toughest challenge when it comes to juggling work and family?

Getting it all done without getting grumpy. It is now 10:30 p.m. and I have about 200 emails to plow through. I long for my nice, comfy bed, and a quick read of the novel I am reading (someone else's).
